This position reports to

US Talent Acquisition Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to an exceptional talent acquisition experience. Each day, you will work closely with HRBPs and hiring managers to ensure sourcing and hiring strategies are followed. You will also showcase your expertise by providing periodic updates on market trends/position conditions to the wider people function and talent acquisition team, as well as the business.
The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Talent Acquisition team in Houston, TX. Main stakeholders are Process Automation.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Acting as a trusted advisor to the business and an ABB ambassador to candidates by understanding the hiring needs and delivering a targeted sourcing and attraction strategy.
Acting as a talent acquisition advisor and partner for the business(es) by developing a deep understanding of the business, proactively building relationships with hiring managers, and strategically advising them on talent matters throughout the entire talent acquisition process, including, sourcing, attraction, assessment, offer and market conditions.
Ensuring excellence in recruitment methods and processes applied at ABB by facilitating transparent, evidence-based talent acquisition process while acting as a recruitment project manager and subject matter expert and recommending new practices, processes, or policies to improve the Talent Acquisition function.
Maintaining data quality and enabling on-demand data to drive insights and informed decision making.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor's or master's degree with at 5+years' professional HR experience in a high performing global organization, or an RPO (or similar) company. A minimum of 5 years' experience with full lifecycle recruiting including job brief, developing sourcing/marketing plan, candidate outreach and development, offer and close.
  • Demonstrated success with various recruiting strategies and techniques, including use of digital and social media.
  • Strategic mindset with a thorough understanding of business drivers and Talent Acquisition and Advancement trends within the HUB.
  • Strong end-to-end process thinking and experience of managing change projects.
  • Knowledge of different recruitment platforms and experience leveraging the tools to source candidates as well as manage relationships.
  • Prior experience working across cultures and with multi-function stakeholders.
  • Ability to network with and influence senior Business and HR leaders globally; exceptional communication skills, strong customer service orientation with proven consulting and influencing skills.
