Estimated annual base pay:

$87,600(minimum) - $109,500(midpoint) - $131,400(maximum)

The Controls Engineer 2 (level 2) reports to Technical Leadership and whose focus is performing design and support of low to moderate complexity controls systems and equipment. This position requires a moderate level of supervision; complex work is still reviewed by a more senior engineer. In addition, this level may participate in project-specific relationship building with Customers, Suppliers, individuals or organizations.

What you will be doing...

  • Reports to Technical Leadership: Guided by technical leaders for task execution.
  • Design and Support: Works on low to moderate complexity control systems and equipment.
  • Moderate Supervision: Operates with oversight; complex tasks reviewed by senior engineers.
  • Mid-Level Role: Requires foundational skills and offers growth toward advanced roles.
  • Customer and Supplier Interaction: Collaborates on project-specific relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Scope of Work: Focuses on simpler systems while building expertise for advanced challenges.
  • Team Collaboration: Contributes to team efforts and collective project objectives.

What we are looking for...

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Technical/Engineering/Mechatronics (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of related experience, or entry-level Master's degree.
  • Core Skills: Basic engineering knowledge, Six Sigma tools, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical calculation skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with design software, PCs, ERP/MRP systems, and manufacturing/controls processes.
  • Communication: Basic written/verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills (procedures, reports, etc.).
  • Teamwork & Time Management: Effective collaboration in project teams, customer communication, and time management.

This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
