The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) ranks among the best in the country. Our research programs are at the forefront of the technologies that have changed the world we live in. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) is seeking a full-time Research Associate to join the team! In this role, you will assist in the development and execution of research projects including experiment design, analysis of data collected and summarizing experiment results and such other tasks that are assigned to you.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Use a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect, and record results or observations.
  • Perform research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Researches and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Summarize statistical information for analysis, examination, or presentation; writes technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models.
  • Identifie problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems.
  • May program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 1-3 years of research experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills.
  • A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
