Position Title: Packager - 1st Shift Wage: $19.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Thursday) Join a dynamic team in Wausau, WI at a leader in probiotics, vitamins, and supplements, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality health products to customers worldwide while advancing your skills and professional growth. Why Join Us: - Opportunity to work with a leading provider of health-focused products - Team-oriented work environment - Growth and development opportunities within the company Packager Responsibilities: - Ensure machines are labeling and filling bottles accurately - Hand-pack filled bottles into boxes - Monitor machines to ensure caps are properly placed on bottles - Conduct visual inspections of products on the conveyor belt - Remove defective products from the production line - Tape, label, and palletize packaged products - Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with various departments Requirements for Packager: - High School Diploma or equivalent required - Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) preferred - Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred - Able to read and understand safety rules, policies, and procedures - Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Good teamwork and communication skills - Able to lift 30-40 pounds repeatedly throughout the day - Able to push and pull up to 100 pounds as needed - Able to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift - Able to reach across conveyor belts and work on the production line - Able to bend, twist, reach overhead, and squat for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift) - Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment wausau@qpsemployment.com IND050 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
