Position Title: Blaster Operator Wage: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm QPS Employment Group is seeking a Blaster Operator for a customer in Elk Grove Village, IL. This role involves abrasive blasting of aerospace components, masking, visual inspection, and supporting production processes from start to finish. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, high-quality manufacturing environment. Blaster Operator Responsibilities: - Inspect incoming and finished parts for damage and spec compliance - Apply and remove masking as needed - Operate abrasive blasting equipment and adjust settings per process instructions - Perform routine maintenance and maintain clean, organized work area (6S) - Track production and communicate with team leads - Support other areas such as shot peening, shipping and general maintenance Requirements for Blaster Operator: - High School Diploma or GED - 2+ years of manufacturing experience; aerospace preferred - Able to read and interpret work instructions and basic blueprints in English - Basic math and computer skills - Able to differentiate colors used in production process schaumburg@qpsemployment.com IND133 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
