Your Job

The Product Line Manager is responsible for leading a complex global product portfolio, including developing the product roadmap, executing the business strategy, and managing product lifecycles. This individual will be accountable for meeting financial objectives such as revenue and gross margin targets and own the vision for the product portfolio. The Product Line Manager is a strategic minded leader who excels in strong cross-functional collaboration and possesses the ability to manage the portfolio with a General Manager mindset.

Our Team

The Product Line Management team is an integral part of the Molex Connected Enterprise Solutions business unit. We have ownership of the product portfolios and are responsible for the profit and loss of the business. The Product Line Manager has a voice in all critical parts of the business including product development (Engineering). manufacturing (Operations), and pricing (Sales).

What You Will Do

  • ou will be responsible for leading the execution of your product roadmap, contribute to the product development lifecycle, and conduct continual improvement of the business.
  • Manage assigned portfolios as a "mini" general manager be accountable for the financial goals and profit and loss of the business.
  • Bring key business skills to enable monitoring, planning, execution, and delivery of projects on-time, within budget, and adherence to the defined scope. Tracks status and manage teams to mitigate issues and risks.
  • Resolve business issues including price negotiations, cost reductions, and quality complaints.
  • Support sales enablement through training and collateral development.

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 3 years in product management in the technology industry.
  • Good business acumen with capability to make strategic decisions based on sound justifications.
  • Ability to analyze market/technology trends and understand/interpret Voice of the Customer.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or in business; all relevant experience will be considered.

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Experience and proven success in managing profit and loss of product portfolios.
  • Familiarity with data center architectures and fiber optics technologies.
  • Ability to present complex information across all organization levels.
  • MBA is a plus.
For this role, we anticipate paying $120,000- $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
