Reporting to the Director of Finance, Mineral Fiber, the Channel FP&A Manager leads FP&A for multiple Mineral Fiber channels, partnering with business leaders to drive growth, optimize cash, enhance value propositions, and leverage data for strategic decision-making. A strong business partner, the incumbent works cross-functionally to accelerate profitable growth aligned with the company's strategic plan. What's in for you!

What you'll be doing Level I
- Partners with channel leaders to develop and execute on channel specific financial operating plans and forecasts.
- Performs financial analysis to maximize financial performance across multiple mineral fiber channels using input through partnering with the respective channel leaders and teams.
- Oversees the accuracy of monthly financial results (P&L, Balance Sheet) and ensure internal control compliance.
- Supervises month-end closing processes, including accruals, intercompany billing, vendor reporting, sales incentives, rebate accruals, and cash flow management.
- Ensures adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, maintaining strong internal controls (segregation of duties, reconciliations, etc.).
- Supervises a financial analyst, ensuring accuracy in monthly financial results (P&L, Balance Sheet) and internal control compliance.
- Guides financial analyst in conducting financial and operational analysis, identifying variance root causes, and proposing corrective measures.
Level II
- Leads financial planning initiatives, collaborating with business leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial plans.
- Oversees financial modeling for growth projections, competitive analysis, and market trend assessments.
- Manages financial analysts in optimizing data insights using tools (SAP Analytics Cloud, BW, Salesforce.com, OneStream, Tableau).
- Evaluates and refine existing processes to improve efficiency, ensuring best practices across financial operations.
- Oversee third-party accounting services for foreign entity reporting within the MF segment.
Level III
- Direct the preparation and review of business cases for investments, including product extensions, new ventures, and strategic decisions.
- Provide financial guidance for medium- to long-term business strategies, partnering with leadership to drive financial success.
- Influence executive decision-making through financial advisory and long-term strategic planning. Develop executive level recommendations and analysis to support agile business decisions in supported channels.
- Manage and mentor finance teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering professional growth.
- Optimizes internal controls to increase efficiency while maintaining and/or improving compliance with accounting standards and company policy. Monitors and drives compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley controls.

- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in financial systems and data tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud, BW, Salesforce.com, OneStream, and Tableau.
- Understanding of internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and best financial practices.
- Ability to supervise and manage a financial analyst in day-to-day financial tasks.
Level II
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence business decisions.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including long-term projections and competitor analysis.
- Process improvement expertise, optimizing financial workflows for efficiency.
- Strong business acumen with experience in evaluating investment proposals and strategic initiatives.
- Coaching and development of financial analysts, preparing them for expanded responsibilities.
Level III
- Executive-level strategic thinking, driving long-term financial planning and profitability.
- High-impact financial advisory to leadership, shaping corporate decision-making.
- Display role model finance business partnering behaviors including the ability to develop trusted relationships across broad group of stakeholders and clearly articulate the implications of business decisions to the financials.
- Leadership experience in managing finance teams and mentoring future leaders.
- Influence over business strategy through data-driven insights and financial recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or related sectors.
- Level I - 5+ years required
- Level II - 7+ years preferred
- Level III - 10+ years preferred
