RAPP New York is looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our award-winning Global Communications team.

YOUR ROLE:

We're on the hunt for a Marketing and Communications Manager who is ready to raise our Agency's reputation to new heights. As a key player on the Growth & Reputation team, you'll be the driving force behind our brand's presence online, on social media, and in the real world. You will help centrally support and provide continuity to RAPP's brand awareness, reputation, and marketing efforts to drive growth for the agency. This position supports a plan to effectively deploy, in a consistent and market-leading manner, the heart, spirit, and expertise of the RAPP business so that it effectively attracts the attention of Journalists and key opinion leaders, OPMG and Omnicom influencers, benchmark talent, and existing and potential senior client partners.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspiring Internal Communications:



  • Lead the charge in creating impactful newsletters, agency meetings, and other internal content that embodies RAPP's brand and vision.
  • Inspire employees to become ambassadors for the agency, celebrating their individuality while uniting them as a force to be reckoned with.


Build Reputation to Drive Growth



  • Attend industry and Omnicom network events, shake hands, and make connections as the face of RAPP.
  • Manage RAPP's reputation in the marketplace - monitoring RAPP's external channels, reporting back to leadership and support on crisis communications.
  • Support thought leadership and press efforts - tracking against publication deadlines and providing editorial feedback as needed.
  • Create content for RAPP's social media channels, exploring innovative tools and techniques to drive engagement.
  • Manage awards calendars and support submissions for both client-focused and workplace awards.


Marketing Innovation:



  • Collaborate with teams, analyze performance, and push creative limits to ensure RAPP stays at the forefront of the precision marketing game.
  • Stay curious and engaged with advancements in AI technology and how intelligent agents are transforming the creation and consumption of content.


Global Connectivity/Consistency



  • Manage a cross-disciplinary corporate communications calendar to advise on communication planning.
  • Support the global RAPP.com website development - working with regional teams to keep content up to date and optimized.
  • Manage RAPP's ecosystem of local office reps, to feed regional and local content into our content pipeline.
  • Monitor RAPP's regional social media accounts, ensuring consistency and providing guidance for global teams.


REQUIRED SKILLS and experiences:



  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years' experience within the agency (preferred) and / or corporate environment.
  • Enjoys and has a knack for creative writing.
  • A proven pro in social media strategy-LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
  • A content creator extraordinaire with storytelling skills that stop scrolls.
  • Expertise in developing inspiring internal communications that motivate employees and foster brand advocacy.
  • A dynamic networker with a passion for building connections.
  • A natural collaborator works easily with a large cross-section of individuals from different backgrounds, skills and perspectives.
  • Is sensitive to cultural norms, expectations, and ways of communicating.
  • Has some level of proficiency in (or is interested in learning) basic design skills - with programs including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Experience with SEO and creating content for websites, blogs, and press that drives measurable results.
  • Is naturally organized, self-motivated, and can efficiently manage one's own time.
  • Is comfortable communicating with senior leadership and does so in a professional manner that best reflects the team at large.
  • Enjoys a balance of heads-down work and collaboration with the larger team, effectively translating larger growth initiatives into practice.


Our Hybrid Work Model:

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to NYC and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
