Position Title: Skilled CNC Machinist
Wage: $22.00 - $40.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm or 4:30pm - 1:00am Join a leading innovator in the design and manufacture of high-quality plastic injection molds and specialty machining products, as a skilled CNC Machinist. We're seeking experienced professionals to join our team in Milwaukee, including first and second shift opportunities for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities for CNC Machinist: - Set up, program, and run CNC machines, including verticals, shuttles, bars, and 5-axis machines - Understand and select correct tooling for production - Produce parts within required tolerances and specifications - Ensure CNC machines are operating at the highest level of productivity appropriate to the assigned project - Review set up sheets and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions - Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools - Measure workpieces for conformance to specification using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges - Adjust machine speeds and feeds and change cutters to machine parts according to specifications - Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements for CNC Machinist: - Experience in a CNC machining environment, with a focus on 3-axis or 5-axis machines - G-Code programming experience Our client is committed to investing in our employees' success and providing a supportive work environment.
