Interacts with customers, internal stakeholders, and maintenance crews regarding street lighting products and services. Ability to work with moderate supervision and manage several tasks. Lead and assist in all

aspects of streetlight maintenance and construction projects. Knowledgeable of street lighting equipment and product vendors.

This position will be based in Dayton, Ohio and will report to the Manager of Miami Valley Lighting (MVLt). The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects. The person will work primarily in the MVLt offices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze and review processes and activities throughout street lighting business. * Provide analysis on street lighting special projects and growth opportunities.

  • Process owner of street lighting damage claim activity, independently research all street lighting incidents, file claims, collections, provide testimony, and negotiate settlements.

  • Project manager for a large quantity of small repair projects, including all back-office activities related to setting up and closing projects.

  • Assist in special lighting programs such as managing work orders and track progress of LED Mass Change Out program.

  • Crosstrain and back up team members on all daily maintenance responsibilities.

  • Provide daily assistance to MVLt financial operations.

  • Crosstrain and back up team members on financial and back-office functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business or Accounting.

  • 3-5 years of work experience. Proficient on all MVLt internal systems in an efficient and productive manner
