Broadwind Energy has an opening in our Abilene plant for a Quality Assurance Tech on C-Shift.This shift is from 6 am to 6 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This shift also comes with a $4.50/hr shift diff. We are busy and that's good. Interested? Keep reading.

The main focus of this role is on ensuring required quality and any customer related issues /problems are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. The position is a key element for serving our customer base, thus making the position very demanding with full responsibility and accountability for its effectiveness in achieving our overall goal of delivering excellent Quality. This role performs a variety of Quality related functions. CERTIFICATIONS IN UT, MT AND VT WILL INCREASE THE HOURLY RATE OFFERED.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS(May include some or all of the following responsibilities)

• Responsible for all aspects of quality related records to include:
• • Prepares routine reports, helps develop and implement forms, procedures and formulates policies.
  • Audits incoming materials, manufactured components and finished goods for conformance to quality standards
  • Verifies product related to specifications
  • Maintains inspection tools and equipment
  • Uses measuring devices accurately
  
  
• Reviews and stays informed of ISO requirements, comments and updates
• Assist with the development of improved techniques for the control of quality, reliability and safety
• Assist with any other projects as needed
