The Position
This is an excellent opportunity for cybersecurity attorneys who are eager to advance their careers and take on significant, substantive responsibilities in defending complex cybersecurity-related cases.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist with defense of privacy lawsuits and data breach class actions filed in state and federal courts nationwide
  • Analysis of state, federal, and international privacy laws
  • Responding to regulatory investigations arising out of a data breach
  • Defending privacy lawsuits
  • Preparing and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and working with expert witnesses


Qualifications



  • 2+ years of complex litigation experience in State and Federal Courts
  • JD from an accredited Law School is required
  • Class Action litigation experience a plus
  • Cybersecurity and Data Privacy background a plus
  • Excellent research and writing skills, including drafting briefs and dispositive motions
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Experience managing large-scale E-Discovery
  • Experience defending in data breach, BIPA, VPPA class actions preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Highly organized and able to meet deadlines in multiple cases
  • Team player
