Job Description

Position Overview:

ThinManager is a centralized device management and content delivery platform. As Product Manager, you will define the product to be built, validate that product direction with customers and users, and grow the business. You will report to the global Business Manager of ThinManager as an individual contributor.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Set the immediate and long-term vision for the platform based on market problems.
  • Collaborate with others to build an idea for a feature, function, or product into a detailed set of Functional Requirements.
  • Represent the business to the engineering team as the Functional Requirements are developed into a software feature, function, or product that is available to the market.
  • Validate that the feature, function, or product meets the needs of the market. This includes validation and problem understanding through customer visits and voice-of-customer.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant industry trends and competitive offerings.
  • Present feature and vision roadmaps to team members and external customers.
  • Coordinate global marketing campaigns and delegate the responsible actions across the team to provide messaging and collateral.
  • Set expectations for, and reviewing creation of, technical and sales tools such as hardware demo kits, physical and virtual labs for tradeshows, and webinar presentations.
  • Facilitate product technical documentation and management of the delivery mechanisms by which information will be written into the product.
  • Create sales programs to align the selling strategy for the product aligned with enterprise level goals.
  • Collaborate with the Business Manager to set global list pricing and managing concession requests from customers.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success Manager to create pricing strategy programs to maximize revenue from Software Maintenance.
  • Manage product launches.
  • Develop sales tools for channel partners.
  • Manage commercial messaging and sales presentation for tradeshow events.
  • Help resolve escalated support tickets.
  • Update project management of the product status and direction.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, including internationally.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Typically requires 8+ years of related experience.
  • Automation industry knowledge required, with control system / software background.
  • Customer relationship management skills and ability to collaborate with functional groups and peer departments.
  • Experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences, efficient in the use of software tools, and an ability to work with a geographically dispersed team.
  • Previous product management experience, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and Pragmatic Marketing certification.
  • Experience with ThinManager, Remote Desktop Services, human machine interface platforms and virtualization systems.
