Overview: We are seeking a Real Estate associate to join our Des Moines office. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of transactional real estate experience, including experience in some or all of the following areas: Negotiating and drafting residential and commerial leases Negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements and related ancillary documents for both sellers and buyers in commercial real estate transactions Representing developers in negotiating and drafting various agreements for real estate developments Managing real estate due diligence for sale and purchase and financing transactions and for corporate transactions involving real estate Managing the closing of real estate sale and purchase and financing transactions Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and writing skills Strong academic background J.D. from an ABA-Accredited Law School Active attorney license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and ability to be promptly admitted in the state of Iowa Our Benefits: Our comprehensive benefits options include medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, short-and long-term disability, employee resource benefits (inclusive of counseling, coaching, and care-giving guidance), parenting classes, paid-parental leave, pre-tax parking and transportation options and paid parking for senior associates, and much more! In Des Moines, the estimated starting annual pay range is $164,000 - $192,000 / year. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
