Here's what you'd do:

  • The Project Engineer position within the Integration, Test & Evaluation (IT&E) Organization is key in supporting the E&T lab's strategic initiatives.
  • As a Project Engineer, you will perform monitoring, control, and support functions across multiple E&T labs, ensuring that projects are completed on time.
  • You will also assist in strategic initiatives such as rehabbing functional spaces, improving lab efficiency, and implementing process improvements.
  • As a Project Engineer, you will contribute to strategic initiatives such as lab space rehabilitation, efficiency improvements, and process enhancements.
  • Additionally, you will assist in maintaining day-to-day lab compliance with company policies and procedures through 6S initiatives, manage schedules and deadlines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve lab objectives.
  • You will work closely with other teams to achieve lab goals and objectives and will be expected to provide support and guidance to lab personnel as needed.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $35/hr.

Hours: 4/10A-1st Shift.

Length: Temp (12 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering, laboratory, sustainment, or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with database tracking systems, including the service request system.
  • Experience interfacing with a diverse workforce.
  • Self-starter able to perform tasks and develop solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Good interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills with the ability to work within a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to understand policies and procedures.
  • Detail-oriented approach to documentation, record-keeping, and operational protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments.
  • To succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record of meeting project deadlines and the ability to access and analyze data, identify trends, and develop innovative solutions.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and drive process improvements.
