With limited guidance, contributes to product development and strategy for moderately-sized product of limited complexity or small, non-complex products. Supports more experienced colleagues with relevant competitive, market and financial analysis to gain breadth of knowledge in relevant platforms, products and services. Extensive experience and deep expertise in product management. Ability to lead complex and strategically important product initiatives. Exceptional skills in cross-functional leadership and influence. Strategic vision combined with strong operational execution skills. Product launch and go to market strategy Primary responsibilities include: Driving the development of key products and solutions with significant impact. Serving as a thought leader and expert within the product management team and across the organization. Collaborating closely with VP Product Managers and Directors to ensure alignment and execution of product strategy. Influencing product direction at a strategic level, often working on products that are critical to the business or are highly innovative. Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. Bachelor's degree in business management, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 8-10+ years of product management with experience creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly-matrixed environment. Prior experience working in a financial industry preferred. Experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision. Deep knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, experience working with multiple scrum teams on simultaneous builds. Experience managing daily technical and design direction. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors. |
