The Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Doors is a visionary enterprise leader responsible for shaping and executing customer-led growth strategies that deliver business performance across all markets. This executive plays a critical role in driving the business forward through market insight, brand and product strategy, innovation, and commercial execution.

The Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Doors will actively participate in the Enterprise Brand Working Group, which is tasked with evaluating and shaping the enterprise brand architecture.

Reports to: President, Doors Business

Span of Control: Member of the Doors Leadership Team and the Enterprise Growth Leadership Council.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership and Business Growth



  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Business President and leadership team, leading the development and execution of the business growth strategy.
  • Integrate voice of the customer, industry trends, and competitive dynamics to inform decisions.
  • Lead strategic evaluation of new business initiatives (organic and inorganic growth), leveraging tools such as customer segmentation, ecosystem analysis, and strategic value chain analysis.
  • Influence the enterprise's growth agenda through participation in the Growth Leadership Council and active engagement with cross-business marketing and strategy leaders.



Product and Portfolio Strategy



  • Drive the development and execution of product and innovation and multi-generation product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with customer needs and long-term business strategy.
  • Lead product management to deliver pipeline innovation across core, adjacent, and transformational opportunities.
  • Guide the identification and pursuit of new markets, channels, and customer segments that expand total addressable market and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Sales, and Operations to deliver commercially viable solutions.



Marketing and Commercial Excellence



  • Link the business value proposition with clear product and marketing strategies, pricing, distribution, and sales enablement to drive commercial performance.
  • Champion customer segmentation and market intelligence capabilities to ensure data-driven decision making.
  • Lead the advancement of digital marketing and e-commerce capabilities to drive customer engagement, growth, and loyalty.
  • Ensure responsiveness to market and competitive shifts through rapid insight, evaluation, and strategy refinement.



Segment & Enterprise Brand Architecture Participation



  • Represent the Doors business in the Enterprise Brand Working Group, taking the lead in selecting and finalizing brand decisions and contributing to the evaluation of Owens Corning's brand architecture.
  • Provide perspective on customer, channel, and portfolio implications of brand architecture decisions.
  • Support implementation of brand-related initiatives within the Doors business, ensuring alignment with broader enterprise objectives.



Leadership and Talent Development



  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing and diverse team of strategy, product, and marketing professionals.
  • Create a culture that values curiosity, innovation, and performance.
  • Lead with inclusivity and transparency, fostering collaboration and enterprise thinking.
  • Attract and retain top talent while investing in the growth of internal team members



QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field required; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in marketing and strategy, preferably within B2B or B2B2C manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing strategies that drive quantifiable business growth.
  • Deep experience in product management, market segmentation, commercial execution, and digital marketing.
  • Experience leading cross-functional and cross-business initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and brand strategy efforts.
