As a Armed Security Officer - Medical Facility in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer at this shelter location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry a sidearm while conducting routine patrols and interacting with individuals on site. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a positive environment. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Must pass a Physcial Fitness Test (Run, Push Ups and Sit Ups)

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the shelter and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and address security-related incidents.
• Monitor the shelter environment for any unusual activity or potential threats, and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist shelter staff and visitors with questions or concerns related to security procedures.
• Support emergency response efforts as needed, following established protocols for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Texas Armed Security Guard Card required.
• Must possess a valid Texas Armed Security Officers License.
• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience, or possess a college degree.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
