Position: Patient Access Representative
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join the team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth patient access and administrative support within our healthcare system. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of administrative healthcare experience. Key Responsibilities: * Manage patient scheduling, registration, and verification processes. * Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into electronic health records (EHR). * Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to facilitate efficient patient access. * Handle a high volume of phone calls from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies, ensuring all inquiries are addressed efficiently and professionally. * Assist patients with appointment scheduling and follow-up, providing clear and concise information. * Resolve patient issues related to billing, insurance, and general inquiries through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Qualifications: * Minimum of 2-3+ years of administrative healthcare experience. * Proficiency in EHR/EMR systems. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting. Details: * Pay: $22 - $24/hr. based on related experience. * Pay cycle - weekly | medical, dental and vision benefits offered * Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
