Through our four business groups, Motorparts, Ride Performance, Clean Air and Powertrain, DRiV is driving advancements in global mobility by delivering technology solutions for diversified global markets, including light vehicle, commercial truck, off-highway, industrial, motorsport and the aftermarket. We are looking for a Distribution Center Controller for our facility in Paragould, AR. This person will support the Regional Finance Director and DC Manager in leading and managing the financial controls and performance at the site. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervises Financial Analyst on site.
- Leads monthly accounting close. This includes journal entry review and approval, completion of monthly financial reports and schedules.
- Responsible for general ledger accounts residing on the site's trial balance. This includes formal reconciliation and analysis of all accounts in cooperation with shared services center.
- Lead monthly forecast and annual budget preparation. Cooperates with corporate and shared services finance functions.
- Prepares monthly P&L and cash flow variance analysis, distribution center specific KPIs, and coordinates/tracks financial improvement actions.
- Verifies and approves financial impact of cost saving/continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manages capital spend budget for the distribution center. This includes business case review and approval.
- Leads the annual inventory standard cost revision. Interacts with other DRiV/Tenneco plant controllers at locations feeding the distribution center as well as the purchasing team re 3rd party vendors.
- Assures Sarbanes Oxley and internal controls are effective at the site. This includes maintaining controls documentation and enforcing controls as required by company policy.
- Coordinates support for annual internal and external audits.
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities and projects as dictated by business needs
- Ensures compliance with global financial policies and procedures, including US GAAP and local reporting requirements and liaises with local tax and government offices.
Required Experience Education:Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field. Skills & Experience:
- 5 + years in a cost accounting/finance controlling position, within a manufacturing or distribution center environment, 2 years in a leadership position.
- Proficient with an ERP system (SAP preferred)
- Basic experience with consolidation system (OneStream preferred)
- Experience analyzing large volume of data using Microsoft suite.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
