Nutrition Services Supervisor

As the Nutritional Services Supervisor at Salem Hospital, you'll play a vital leadership role in ensuring high-quality food service operations that directly impact patient care and satisfaction. You'll oversee daily functions, address staffing and operational needs, manage training and scheduling, and support a team of associates, cooks, and food service workers. Background/Expertise:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of two (2) years supervisory/lead experience with food service operations experience preferred
• Must have Food Handler's certification within one month of hire
• Must have strong computer skills in order to manage patient food service systems (Computrition) and understanding of EMR (electronic medical record) as well as to complete data collection / analysis of patient services functions and individual staff members performance
• Must have a strong understanding of health care food service operations, specifically relative to special diets and current nutrition standards for a variety of patient populations - adults, pediatrics, geriatrics with various medical conditions
• Must be capable of performing medium-heavy physical work which includes, lifting, bending, reaching, stooping, pushing, stretching, and standing for long periods of time
