About Us: Founded in 2017 and based in Chicago, Meitheal is focused on the development and commercialization of generic injectable medications and, as of 2022, has expanded its focus to include fertility, biologic, and branded products. Meitheal currently markets over 60 U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved products across numerous therapeutic areas including anti-infectives, oncolytics, intensive care, and fertility. Position Summary: The Key Account Manager (KAM) will be responsible for execution of brand strategy and sales goals for Meitheal oncology biosimilar products with oncology centers of excellence, large oncology clinics/physician groups, hospitals and IDN's. Developing and maintaining relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision makers and KOL's. Identify opportunities for utilization of Meitheal oncology biosimilar products in appropriate patients within assigned Oncology accounts. This role will communicate the approved information which illustrates the clinical and value proposition for approved Meitheal products. Pay range for this position is $130,000 - $180,000. Payrate is determined by considering a person's prior experience and competence. The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Sales
- Identify and pursue strategic/business opportunities with assigned Oncology customers to achieve sales goals.
- Execute sales activities through key account contacts to achieve shared sales goals for targeted accounts.
- Work with target accounts to enable product access and include Meitheal products in EHR platforms and ordering systems.
- Communicate insights and trends to Oncology Account Managers (OAM's), providing support as needed.
Customer Engagement
- Serve as strategic account lead and engage other cross-functional team members to determine resources needed to meet the needs of multiple customers and stakeholders.
- Deliver value proposition and other information such as Health Care Economic Information (HCEI) in line with approved payer guidance to appropriate audiences and decision makers to assist with P&T/formulary decisions.
- Communicate on-label clinical information as needed to support overall value proposition with assigned customers.
- Engage with decision makers to support clinical protocol development and care pathway placement with approved, on-label information.
- Knowledgeable about oncology-specific quality initiatives with the ability to effectively communicate them using approved content and resources.
- Participate in industry conferences and events, where appropriate, to engage with key customer stakeholders.
Business Planning
- Lead business planning activities for target accounts and engage cross-functional stakeholders to identify key challenges and opportunities, develop solutions, and implement action plans with specific objectives and timelines.
- Engage multiple internal cross-functional stakeholders--Oncology GPOs, Marketing, Market Access, Trade, and Medical Affairs to coordinate approach to targeted accounts and maximize Meitheal's product opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience with a proven record of exceptional results required.
- 3+ years of sales success and relationships within the oncology field calling on oncology centers of excellence, large oncology clinics/physician groups, hospitals and IDN's strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated history of successful performance in oncology sales.
- Knowledge of and ability to navigate diverse and complex oncology customers and their business practices including pharmacy-dispensing clinics, medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement, prescribing protocols, etc.
- Established relationships with key customer stakeholders and decision makers.
- Experience leading business planning activities and successful execution of business plan goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of US health care policies and relevant legal, compliance, regulatory and reporting requirements.
- Buy and bill experience required.
- Ability to understand and explain the clinical and value proposition of our products.
- Ability to accommodate extensive travel (>50%).
