Overview The Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C) is an association managed by SRI with a mission to grow the quantum economy via community-building and collaboration. QED-C is searching for a Technology Policy Intern to work with the QED-C Law & Policy Technical Advisory Committee during Summer 2025. The Intern will work a hybrid schedule based at our Arlington, VA office. Responsibilities The Intern will develop and apply methodologies to evaluate the impact of salient policy issues on the industry, summarize policy documents and legislation, draft whitepapers, and travel within the National Capital Region to support briefings and in-person events. Applicants are encouraged to propose an additional relevant project. The Intern will report to the QED-C Deputy Director with additional direction from QED-C members serving on the policy subcommittee. Qualifications
Current graduate or undergraduate students majoring in Public Policy, Government, Economics, Science and Technology Studies or some other policy-related program. Science or technical majors will also be considered.
The salary range is: $17-$29/hr. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
