Cloud Security Engineer

Required

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security engineering, with a focus on infrastructure in GCP and Google Kubernetes environments.
  
  
• Strong understanding of security best practices
  for container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
  
  
• Proven ability to lead compliance initiatives
  across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR, including control implementation and audit readiness.
  
  
• Proficiency with security tools and platforms, such as SIEMs, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and observability stacks (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
  
  
• Expertise in threat modeling, penetration testing, and incident response, with a track record of identifying and mitigating security risks.
  
  

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
  for managing secure deployments.
  
  
• Experience building security automation workflows
  for threat detection, patching, and vulnerability management.
  
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to train and mentor teams
  on secure coding, security awareness, and response processes.
