DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To receive, inspect, and disposition all returned parts and finished goods



RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

*Receive and verify returned parts or finished goods

*Perform visual and physical inspections on returned parts and finished goods by utilizing fit, form and function and accurately record resulting data

*Disposition inspected returned parts and finished goods as either Return to Vendor, Scrap, or Re-stock, depending upon inspection findings

*Research parts and diagrams, place orders, maintain databases, and accurately record all required information

*Utilize test fixtures to evaluate returned parts for use on warranty orders

*Operate a powered industrial truck to perform duties such as loading and unloading material to and from containers, storage racks, and set locations

*Use hand tools and standard power tools for basic assembly of parts for stock

*Assist in the Parts Shipping Department (as needed) using RF Scanners to fulfill customer orders by picking parts, packaging orders, cycle counting inventory, and moving product

*Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

*Complete the annual CTPAT Security Training

*Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment *Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

*Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

*Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary



REQUIRED SKILLS

*Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

*Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

*Read and interpret Illustrative Parts Breakdowns (IPB's)

*Disassemble and reassemble power mobility products safely using hand tools and standard power tools

*Stand/walk entire workday

*Use multi-step platform ladders to safely pick orders from elevated locations

*Safely operate/drive powered-industrial forklifts

*Lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 80 pounds

Must have:

*Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

*A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

*Good verbal and written communication skills

*Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel

*Basic working knowledge of hand tools and standard power tools

*Basic computer skills



PREFERRED SKILLS

*Basic working knowledge of Oracle preferred



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 6 months of Quality Assurance experience OR at least 1 year of experience in a hands-on assembly or manufacturing role adhering to set quality standards



PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 2 years of experience using power and hand tools preferred

*At least 1 year of experience visually and physically inspecting mechanical components and assemblies for quality defects in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred

*At least 1 year of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

*At least 2 years of experience using Oracle, UPS or FedEx shipping systems preferred

*Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred



PREFERRED EDUCATION

*High School Diploma or GED preferred



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
