Student Health Services - HIM UCF Health - Student Health Services (SHS) provides various primary and specialty care services to help keep students, faculty and staff at their optimum health. The Health Center is located on the Main Campus, and satellite clinics are located at the Health Sciences and Downtown campuses. Our services are designed with students', faculty and staff needs in mind. Become a part of our committed UCF Student Health Team as a Health Informatics Coordinator and deliver outstanding healthcare to our community. The Opportunity: The Health Informatics Coordinator will serve as the Student Health Services HIPAA Privacy Officer and will be responsible for the strategic oversight of health information management staff. This role ensures the accuracy, privacy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of all health data, adhering to established security policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include the implementation, management, and enforcement of information security directives as mandated by HIPAA/HITECH and the 21st Century CURES Act, as well as the seamless integration of information security principles within Student Health Services' overall strategies and requirements.
