JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Abington is seeking a part-time instructor to teach undergraduate courses in Philosophy (Ethics) beginning August 2025. This is a part-time, one semester appointment with the possibility of reappointment. Candidates with a student-centered, innovative, and engaging approach to teaching are encouraged to apply. Job Duties Teaching between one and three sections/semester of PHIL 103/PHIL 103W: Ethics. Requirements and Qualifications Preference for candidates who have completed a Doctoral degree in Philosophy or related field, but ABD and Master level candidates will be considered. Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduates is highly desirable. Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of relevant courses taught at the college level. Candidates should be prepared to provide the names, titles, and contact information for three professional references, if requested.
