We're seeking a Software Engineer with strong skills to join our team in Ft Meade area. This role focuses on supporting mission critical applications and web service development in support of an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) solution at an Enterprise scale. Technical responsibilities include support for software design, development, integration, test, we aim to deliver high-impact, sustainable solutions that ensure the safety and success of our clients' missions. By joining our team, you'll collaborate with industry experts who are dedicated to making a difference through cutting-edge technology and research. You'd like to do this: Design, develop, and optimize software applications, focusing particularly on Java and its application in hyperthreading and multithreading environments. Work on significant projects that require you to apply your advanced Java programming skills to develop high-performance, scalable, and responsive applications. Collaborate with a team of engineers and developers to create software solutions that meet the complex needs of our clients while adhering to project timelines and technical specifications. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. You're required to have this: A minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer, working in programs and contracts of significant scope, type, and complexity. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is preferred. However, four (4) additional years of relevant software engineering experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. Strong proficiency in Java, with specific expertise in hyperthreading/multithreading techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex software problems, optimize performance, and ensure the reliability and security of the software systems. Excellent teamwork skills, with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Salary Range: $130k- $197K The BlueHalo pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
