Position Summary: The Marketing Operations Specialist is a key member of the Marketing and Communications team that supports customers by maximizing the efficiency of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data and software to enhance customer engagement. Responsible for data collection and maintenance, understanding API exchange data workflow, list segmentation and creating Salesforce custom journeys and communications. This role requires strong digital marketing skills and the ability to effectively set up, deliver, target, segment/personalize CRM campaigns, including end-to-end testing, analysis and optimization. Requires excellent communication skills to respond to and resolve daily Donated Goods Retail (DGR) customer inquiries, administer the loyalty program and implement marketing strategies to deepen connections between GESMN and its customers. - Marketing and CRM Operations: Manage CRM technology to enhance and personalize customer experience. Strict attention to detail, accuracy and flexibility in using complex CRM software to effectively target/communicate with customers.
- Communications & Brand Stewardship: Provide communications support to the marketing team, DGR and store leadership, internal stakeholders, following direction provided by the Marketing and Communications Director. Ensure CRM automations adhere to brand standards and represent organizational voice.
Job Pay & Perks:
- Pay range: $29.04 - $42.57
- This is a Flexible-hybrid role whose essential functions allow the employee to primarily work from a personal home office but also require the employee to work at a physical GESMN or partner facility as business needs require, sometimes with great urgency and little notice.

About You: Required Knowledge & Skills:
- Advanced skills in job-related technology and analytics: CRM software like Salesforce, point of sale (POS), intranet and web CMS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Proficiency in CRM software, ability to resolve technical software issues, problem-solving skills and detail oriented.
- Understanding of branding and customer engagement strategies, using technology and innovation to strengthen GESMN's connection with multiple audiences.
- Demonstrates acumen in the gravity of stewarding the Goodwill brand and communicating on its behalf in everyday work, growing customer engagement and adhering to organizational messaging.
- Ability to organize and prioritize communications, multiple details and deadlines in a high-volume work setting serving both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, highly attentive to detail, with the ability to prioritize in a remote work environment with the marcomm team and multiple audiences.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately; respect for privacy considerations and laws around information and data customers share with GESMN.
Prior Experience & Education:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
- Associate degree preferred but not required.
