OTC Industrial Technologies is looking for a Payroll/HRIS Analyst to join our team in Columbus, OH! The Payroll/HRIS Analyst is a key member of the HR Team. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Compiling & analyzing HR/Payroll data, reporting metrics for departmental and leadership use; as well as assisting in various HR projects. The person in this role must have a customer service focus, maintain standardization of processes, accuracy, and a continuous process improvement mindset. What You'll Do:
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing (regular, off-cycle, annual) in accordance with all applicable laws. Calculate, audit and reconcile all payroll entries.
- Research & analyze complex payroll issues.
- Provide oversight for timecards, time-off and JIRA ticketing system.
- Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources. Specifically, the HR System (HRIS), payroll, financial reports, benefit reports, etc.
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to headcount, turnover, compensation, training, benefits, etc.
- Creates templates, dashboards, scorecards and metrics.
- Supports various administration duties (e.g. connection files to carriers, billing, integration of new acquisitions, ad hoc reporting, etc.)
- Participates in various HR project work as assigned.
- Acts as subject matter expert for HRIS System (ADP HRIS).
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree: Human Resources, Business, or Finance.
- Highly analytical and precise disposition with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze complex payroll issues and develop solutions.
- Effective communication skills to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Strong proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Hands-on experience with HR systems (ADP preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain a professional, collaborative demeanor while performing duties, adhering to strict confidentiality.
- HR Generalist/ Management experience a plus.
