Fluid Power Assembly Technician jml Essential Job Functions and Performance Standards: * Construction of hydraulic systems * Read schematics/diagrams/blueprints * Welding, fabrication, tube bending * Hose assembly * Use hand/power tools and machining equipment (i.e. drill press, mill, lathe, etc.) * Pneumatic paint spraying * Hydraulic test equipment and test stand operation * Troubleshoot circuits * Forklift operation * Other responsibilities and/or projects as assigned by management Work Environment: Climate controlled shop environment Requirements: Education: High school degree, GED, or equivalent required AAS in mechanical field a plus Ongoing willingness to continue educational learning/training Licenses/Certificates: None Skills * Experience working with power tools and hand tools * MIG welding * Hydraulic tube bending and fabrication * Forklift Operator * Good mechanical aptitude a must * Logical problem-solving and analytical ability * Strong interpersonal and both written and oral communication skills * Motivated self-starter with the ability to organize, prioritize, and schedule work assignments is required. * Sound judgment and decision-making ability * Demonstrates integrity and ethical standards * Maintains a professional demeanor at all times * Team player who works productively with wide range of people Physical Demands: Lifting up to 35 lbs., bending, assembly, installation & troubleshooting |
