Overview

UW Credit Union is seeking an experienced and people-centered Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our recruitment function. This is a working manager role-meaning you won't just oversee the team, you'll actively manage your own requisitions as well. Your hands-on involvement in recruiting exempt-level roles will help you stay connected to the candidate market, build stronger partnerships with hiring managers, and model best practices for your team.

In this impactful leadership position, you'll guide and support a talented team of TA professionals, helping them deliver an exceptional and inclusive candidate experience. While you'll partner with the Director of Talent on overall strategy, your primary focus will be on overseeing day-to-day TA operations, optimizing systems and processes, and leading the team in achieving key hiring outcomes. From coaching team members and monitoring hiring metrics to enhancing our employment brand and candidate sourcing & outreach efforts, you'll play a critical role in attracting and hiring talent that aligns with UWCU's mission, values, and culture.

No two days will be the same. One morning, you might be leading a 1:1 coaching session with a team member or collaborating with hiring leaders to launch a new search. That afternoon, you could be reviewing candidate pipelines, troubleshooting an ATS workflow, or conducting interviews for a critical open role. You'll jump between strategic conversations and tactical execution, all while championing a seamless and welcoming candidate experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment and enjoy the balance of leading and doing, this role offers the best of both worlds.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week onsite at our Administrative Offices in Madison, WI.
