Description Acara Solutions is hiring a Product Manager - Aluminum Melting for our client, a global leader specializing in industrial thermal processing solutions. In this high-impact role, you will serve as the product champion for aluminum melting systems, leading efforts to market, sell, and support products that align with the company's strategic vision. You'll work cross-functionally to drive innovation, enhance the customer experience, and grow market share-serving as the go-to expert both internally and externally. This is a remote-based role with travel, and the preferred candidate will be located within proximity to an international airport and reside in the Eastern Time Zone of the U.S. What You'll Do Serve as the technical expert and lead sales efforts for aluminum melting products. Build and maintain deep understanding of customer needs, product strengths/weaknesses, and competitor offerings. Develop and execute strategies to enhance customer experience and grow market share. Translate product strategy into actionable requirements and drive organizational alignment. Attend trade shows and industry events; present on company technology where possible. Generate accurate proposals, cost estimates, and negotiate pricing and terms. Support customers from order acknowledgment to equipment acceptance. Mentor and train future product management personnel. Job Requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering. 5+ years of proven industrial sales experience, ideally in aluminum thermal processing. Proven track record of account management and customer-focused problem solving. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Fluent in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Self-directed, detail-oriented, and organized. Preferred Qualifications Experience specifically in aluminum melting equipment or related thermal processing industries. Familiarity with actionable market segmentation and competitor analysis. Ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams and drive change. History of innovation and driving process improvement. Strong professional presence at industry events (e.g., presentations, seminars, papers). Experience working in a global business context.
