Job Description

ISN Corp is seeking experienced federal staff auditors to support the operations of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) program.This role will require knowledge of federal audit practices.

Functional Responsibilities:

Leads work conducted by auditors, analysts, and other employees, as well as augmentees, as needed on an ad hoc basis, consisting of administrative personnel from other elements of the Office, in conducting internal audits and reviews of Office elements and operations. This includes:

    • Preparing and conducting audit surveys and program evaluations which focus on the audit objectives.
    • Determining compliance with applicable laws and regulations in connection with audits and support services.
    • Drafting survey and audit briefs describing results work.
    • Reviewing corrective actions on prior audit findings and evaluating the adequacy of those corrective actions.
    • Compiling reports and briefing materials that are persuasive and concise; and
    • Aiding in preparation of accounts and Office elements for external audits, including those conducted by GAO, the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and other Department audit staff, and serving as Office point-of-contact for external auditors.
Qualifications

Knowledge of federal audit practices.

Experience planning and conducting audits, and analyzing data derived from audits.

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Ability to analyze data effectively. Experience in formulating reports.

Ability to work effectively

***Staff Auditor III-Requires a TS Clearance when performance starts

Education:

Staff Auditor I- Bachelor's degree or years' experience

Staff Auditor II- Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience or CPA

Staff Auditor III- Bachelor's Degree with 6 years' experience and CPA or master's degree with 4 years' experience and CPA-

Staff Auditor IV-Bachelor's Degree with 8 years' experience with CPA or master's degree 6 years experience and CPA
