Position Details:



  • Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour
  • Employment Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire



Key Responsibilities:

As a Staff Accountant, you will play an essential role in overseeing day-to-day transactional accounting operations. Your duties will include:



  • Supporting senior accounting leadership with the preparation of accurate financial data and reports
  • Processing accounting entries in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Monitoring accounts for accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Preparing journal entries, monthly reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Managing vendor and customer account reconciliations
  • Maintaining fixed asset records and assisting with internal audits
  • Contributing to financial reporting and analysis for strategic planning
  • Ensuring data integrity, timely reporting, and adherence to internal controls

Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in industries such as distribution, manufacturing, or logistics
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting
  • Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (Acumatica preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
