This role

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Storage Platforms Network Basics Migration Tools Migration Planning Compute Platforms and Cloud Basics. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure technology to support our companys growth and impact on society.

Below is the JD for MVS system programmer & Network Admin, kindly do the needful.

• Responsible for planning, installing and maintenance of z/OS software and related ISV software components.
• Responsible for problem management and problem determination of assigned software.
• Expert in z/OS operating systems architecture, design & implementation.
• Familiar with deployment of IBM z/OS operating system (OS 25 & 3.1) and hands on experience with SMP/E.
• Expert skills in TSO/ISPF, REXX, z/OS and its subsystems
• Knowledge on Parallel Sysplex concepts
• Strong experience in zOS version upgrades, Installation of patches and fixes and Installation and maintenance of ISV products
• System parameters/parmlib maintenance
• Extensive experience in Mainframe TCP/IP admin and SNA/VTAM support
• SMPE - Installation, customization and maintenance of CONNECT DIRECT, CA NETMASTER ,TPX and Mainframe Communication Services in ZOS Manual
• TCPIP profile activation, Perform Network recycling. Support Certificates and Conduct network sizing
• Capture network trace and analysis the same, for network outage, Change and Fix on OSA Configuration. Support Base network products Communications Server (VTAM/TCP/IP)

The annual salary for this position is between $[115,000 - 150,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
