RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in daily snowmaking, equipment assignments, and mountain inspections. * Assist in overseeing snowmaking contractors and mentor the DV team * Assist in maintenance and operation of all snowmaking machines and equipment * Oversee summer maintenance of snow guns * Mentor and develop staff on the snowmaking team * Assist in developing departmental safety and risk management policies and techniques * Effectively perform and supervise the snow removal plan * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: * A minimum of two seasons at Deer Valley as a snowmaker required * Ability to use all Deer Valley snowmaking equipment * Mechanical aptitude of snowmaking equipment * Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive snowmobiles, snow cats, heavy equipment, and other vehicles.
