Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a Project Coordinator III in our Washington DC area office (Bowie, MD)! The Project Coordinator III position provides critical and timely administrative support on complex projects to ensure best-in-class fulfillment experience for both internal and external customers. This role will work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, collaborating with Project Managers (PM) and other key players to transition, organize, plan, coordinate, and execute projects throughout the business on-time and on-budget. The Project Coordinator III will work at the project operational level to ensure efficient use of resources and manage multiple complex projects over a large geography simultaneously. - Provide execution assistant to the Project Manager (PM) including but not limited to status reports, project escalation support, scheduling meetings, and supporting the completion of forms and other artifacts by project participants
- Coordinate with PMs to ensure project plan is current and accurate including:
- Processing plan updates provided by the PM
- Communicating the project plan
- Managing version control
- Documenting standards, policies, and updates
- Assist with revisions to project schedules by generating tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones
- Monitor and coordinate tracking of project issues, working with the team to provide timely status updates to business line or other interested parties
- Coordinate end user training including setting up training sessions and coordinating training logistics
- Assist in creating monthly detailed project forecasts and monitoring monthly detailed project forecasts
- Create Project documentation for project ensuring timely completion of deliverables
- Maintain core team meeting minutes and distribute
- Update necessary tracking system(s) to ensure project status is maintained with complete accuracy
- Provides administrative preparation for various meetings
- Communicate all issues to management prior to reaching critical status
- Develop and maintain accurate and complete files for projects and continues to monitor for integrity and completeness
- Provides ad hoc reports as requested
- Provides additional administrative support as required

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Economics, or related discipline
- 8+ years of related work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge in HVAC equipment, services, and turnkey projects
- PMI certification

The typical hourly pay rate for this position ranges from $42.21 - $67.60 in Maryland. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
