The Divisional Sales Manager - Modular Chiller Plant role is responsible for driving the sale of large, complex, bundled offerings to solution sales customers by promoting the Daikin Applied value proposition at a systemic level. This purpose of this position is to build effective relationships with Owners, construction, purchasing and consulting organizations resulting in new business development while balancing customer needs and financial challenges. Location: Remote - Candidate must live in Eastern Canada, Midwest, Northeast US


What you will do:



  • Work and take direction from the regional managers.
  • Work with our rep sales offices and district services offices.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for modular chiller plants.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations of modular chiller systems to potential customers and design engineers.
  • Work with our MCP to ensure project timelines
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals.
  • Provide technical support to customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate modular chiller system for their needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, technologies, and competitor activities.
  • Research and analyze market opportunities.
  • Identify potential customer segments and tailor sales approaches accordingly.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing materials.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Engineering degree preferred
  • 6 - 8 years of related sales experience in the commercial HVAC Industry
  • People leadership experience preferred
  • Possess a strong understanding of modular chiller technology and applications.
  • Ability to travel 40-60% or as needed

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,800 - $188,300. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for a sales incentive plan.
