Job Summary: The Whey Products Coordinator is responsible for timely and accurate shipments. The coordinator will work with whey production and shipments. Verifies and keeps records of all assigned incoming and outgoing product.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  1. Receive customer orders, calculate pricing and enter into the Ross System.
  2. Call on assigned customers to obtain orders by phone.
  3. Input order requests into the database.
  4. Handle customer issues from inception to final resolution.
  5. Communicate changes in volume or unproductive accounts to the Whey Sales
  6. Maintain the customer pricing forms.
  7. Correct sales order pricing based upon market and customer contracts.
  8. Generate invoices, credits, amend sales orders, and re-billings for all foreign
    and domestic shipments.
  9. Coordinate and arrange whey powder shipments to customers and outside


warehouses. To include certificates of analysis, bills of lading, order set-up, transportation, invoicing, tracking, and reports to accounting department.



  1. Generate necessary reports for monthly inventory reconciliation.
  2. Verify daily production, product quality, and inventory.



  1. Negotiate settlements for incoming loads of WPC and permeate.
  2. Negotiate settlements and generate invoices for outgoing shipments of sweet cream and whey cream.
  3. Assist as needed for programming/recording for phone system.
  4. Meet with customers directly when necessary.
  5. Some travel may be required.
  6. All other duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications:



  1. Excellent arithmetic and reading skills generally acquired by a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  2. 1 to 3 years of office experience.
  3. Excellent communication/phone skills.
  4. Previous customer service or sales experience of at least 5 years.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  6. Ability to learn proprietary computer systems.



Schedule:



  • Shift 6:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday.



Pay:



  • Pay range of $22.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour depending on experience
