Job Title: Digital Experience Manager Location: Chicago, IL (5 days a week onsite) Role Type: Full-time Salary: $85,000-$95,000 Seeking a Digital Experience Manager to optimize the customer journey on our client's e-commerce platform with a clear mission: maximize conversion. This role involves using data, tools, and sharp instincts to smooth the path from click to checkout, enhancing user engagement, and converting browsers into buyers. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) initiatives across the website.
- Identify and analyze friction points using tools like GA4, Hotjar, Crazy Egg, Shopify Analytics, and other customer behavior tools.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive CRO testing program, including A/B, multivariate, and split tests on various site sections such as homepages, product detail pages (PDPs), product listing pages (PLPs), carts, and checkouts.
- Continuously assess and enhance the customer journey to reduce bounce rates, increase user engagement, and streamline checkout processes.
- Optimize product carousels, collections, site navigation, filters, and on-site search functionalities.
- Conduct audits and enhance mobile user experience and performance across essential devices.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for merchandising, personalization, and content structuring strategies.
- Deliver regular reports on CRO impacts and test results, outlining clear action plans.
- Collaborate effectively with teams across eCommerce, product development, UX, creative, and development to implement changes swiftly and efficiently.
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of experience in eCommerce, specifically on Shopify, with a strong emphasis on conversion optimization.
- Demonstrated success in managing CRO programs and enhancing online shopping experiences for direct-to-consumer (DTC) or high-volume retail brands.
- Advanced proficiency with analytical tools such as GA4, heat maps, session replays, user flow analysis, and behavioral segmentation.
- A solid understanding of UX/UI principles, digital consumer behavior, and factors that influence online conversions.
- Skilled in interpreting complex data and articulating clear, impactful optimization strategies.
- Excellent project management abilities and adept at cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience with third-party CRO tools like Optimizely, VWO, Convert.com.
- Knowledge of personalization tools and customer segmentation technologies.
- A background in fashion eCommerce or dynamic DTC environments is highly desirable.
