The Job

Responsible for oversight and support of SCAN's network data management supporting all current and future SCAN service areas. Collaborates with other departments to ensure provider data is appropriate for system processing, downstream system integration and reporting. Develops and maintains processes, training materials, reports and reporting tools specific to Provider Services to meet business and regulatory requirements, driving technology and process improvement adoption, and accountability to delivery within the Provider Services Data Loading and Quality teams, and solution sets.

You Will



  • Works with internal departments to identify compliance and/or efficiency issues, analyzes to determine best options for solution, and leads and/or participates in workgroups to implement change Maintains a formal process for proactively determining and ensuring the SCAN provider network meets CMS requirements
  • Responsible for leading teams to deliver projects that span one or more business units including managing resources, issues and risks to ensure successful project delivery Understand and implement new and future compliance requirements
  • Supports key operational strategic initiatives with a focus on systems and processes Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching and counseling employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, and driving accountability for SMART goals.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining standards for database integrity and quality assurance, coordinate corrective activities to clean database Motivates and maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities Other responsibilities include providing feedback to reduce errors and improve processes and performance, maintaining current provider data to ensure the quality of the network, reporting and tracking metrics.
  • Oversees team of provider research specialists who are responsible for various activities related to the provider network database which may include any or all of the following: outbound calls to provider's offices, database maintenance, reporting and extracting data for various reports and analyses, initiating database improvement.
  • Supervises the production and maintenance of data for print and online provider directories and ensuring directories are accurate and user friendly.
  • Ensure that vendors comply with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established for provider data quality by consistently monitoring and verifying their adherence to these standards
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team in order to generate innovative process improvements that effectively address emerging business challenges Additionally, offer mentorship to team members to facilitate their professional development and enhance their problem-solving capabilities
  • Partners with Technology teams to implement and effectively utilize current, and future technology stacks to improve processes, become more efficient, and prepare the organization infrastructure across, people, process, and technology for scale and growth.
  • Partners with teams across the organization in a collaborative way, driving business outcome success through focus on the end result, collaborative communications, demonstrating a service mind-set, while still holding accountability across the teams for delivering on SMART goals.


Your Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years' experience in healthcare
  • 5-7 years of experience managing people
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • 2-3 years of leadership experience
  • Lead and inspire teams to achieve performance goals, offering guidance and support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Process and Procedure Development
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Driving a positive employee culture, rewarding results, SMART goals
