About the Role

As an Associate Client Executive II, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing relationships with our High Value Customers in the Tax & Accounting sector. This position focuses on our highest value customers within our Tax Workflow products. You will be responsible for account management, retention, renewal activities, and driving cross-sales and upsells. This role requires a proactive approach to client management, utilizing data-driven strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and long-term value

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of Growth Accounts, focusing on retention, increased usage, and account expansion.

  • Conduct semi-annual business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and identify growth opportunities.

  • Implement strategies to increase product adoption and usage among existing clients.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell within the assigned account base.

  • Monitor client satisfaction and engagement levels, addressing any issues promptly to ensure retention.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and ensure smooth product implementation and support.

  • Utilize data analytics to track account performance and identify trends that could lead to increased spend or usage.

  • Strategically drive cross-sales and upsells within Growth Accounts, with the goal of increasing their overall spend to transition them into the High Value Account (HVA) tier.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and account status in the CRM system.

  • Stay informed about product updates, industry trends, and tax regulations to provide valuable insights to clients.

  • Contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements within the Client Executive team.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.

  • 2-3 years of experience in account management, client relations, or sales, preferably in the software or professional services industry.

  • Strong understanding of tax and accounting processes and software solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients at various levels.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention targets.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.

  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on building long-term client relationships.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The target total cash compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the target total cash compensation range for this role is $77,000 - $143,000.
This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive.
Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
