POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Position Overview

Alutiiq Solutions, LLC is excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a skilled Information Security and Communications Security Specialist to safeguard and manage the transmission of Classified National Security Information (CNSI) in compliance with Federal law and various security directives. This role requires a thorough understanding of security protocols and Requires TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance and COMSEC briefing. primarily at the SECRET level. This role is located at Peterson SFB, Co.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Compliance and Security Management:



  • Serve as the Alternate COMSEC Responsible Officer (ACRO), providing COMSEC services in line with Presidential Decision Directives, CNSS Directives, and DoD and Air Force policies.
  • Ensure compliance with Automated Information Systems Security requirements related to COMSEC duties.
  • Verify that proper physical security accreditation is issued by designated Program Security Officers for supported facilities.
  • Ensure proper storage of classified documents and COMSEC materials in storage containers and devices according to applicable policies and procedures.


Inventory and Inspection:



  • Conduct secure equipment and classified keying material inventories, inspections, and other COMSEC-related support.
  • Perform inventories according to agency policy and report discrepancies to the government customer.


Training and Development:



  • Train personnel performing COMSEC functions in the use of COMSEC procedures and related equipment.
  • Develop, track, and administer required annual COMSEC training for both Government and participating contractors.
  • Attend DoD COMSEC Office of Record training and certification and Secure Voice Training within three months of contract award.


Incident Reporting and Management:



  • Report any COMSEC violations in writing to the COMSEC Office Record


Courier and Material Handling:



  • Obtain courier cards within 15 days of contract award and courier classified information as required, authorizing receipts for classified materials.
  • Provide support for the destruction of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Sensitive but Unclassified (SBU) material, including all forms of media such as paper, film, and memory storage devices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, a highly motivated self-starter
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, CorelDraw, or other vector drawing software.
  • Proficient in the use of SGML.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI


Preferred Qualifications or Skills



  • Strong knowledge of Federal security regulations, including Executive Order 13526, NISPOM, ISOO, and NPR 1600.6.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
  • Experience with COMSEC procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to train personnel and manage security compliance programs.


Pay range:$141,512 to $148,434 per year
