In the role of Senior Control Systems Engineer, we'll count on you to:

Lead complex control systems engineering projects across all phases-planning, design, and implementation

Serve as Engineer of Record for SCADA/I&C construction documents, ensuring technical excellence

Oversee system integration, including PLC/DCS/SCADA programming and HMI development

Mentor design teams and coordinate workload to meet schedules and deliverables

Develop innovative solutions in advanced automation, operational tech (OT), AI, and data analytics

Write and edit I&C specs, select devices and technologies, and ensure code compliance

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients on proposals, project scoping, and execution

Review electrical documentation, resolve cross-discipline conflicts, and support construction administration

Perform QA/QC on peer work and contribute to a culture of excellence

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of advanced control systems topics including data management, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, network architecture
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 10 years applicable experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Automation programming experience
  • Experience designing control systems
  • Experience managing control systems projects
  • Knowledge of automation hardware including but not limited to Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Foxboro, Modicon, Siemens, and GE.
  • Knowledge of automation software including but not limited to Wonderware, iFix, FacotryTalk, VTScada, Ignition
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position is $136,000 - $193,000 and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
