This is a Remote position open to any qualified applicant in the United States

Job Title: Redis Administrator (Remote)

• Solid experience in Redis technology in both Cloud and On-Prem.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience solving real time production systems.
• Experience with alerting and monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.).
• Experience with containerization technologies and concepts.
• Experience with Terraform or any IMac code tools.
• Working knowledge in Linux/Unix and understanding of networking protocols.
• Experience in RESTful web services integration with Redis DB or equivalent experience.

• Experience with on-call duty supporting Redis operations for production systems.
• Experience in analyzing and debugging production issues at scale.
• Implement and maintain RavenDB for high-performance database solutions.
• Leverage Amazon DynamoDB for fast and flexible NoSQL database services.
• Supervise the use of MongoDB for handling database documents.
• Integrate Redis for in-memory data structure storage to improve application performance.
• Apply Couchbase for distributed NoSQL database solutions.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure flawless integration of infrastructure components.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to development teams.
• Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor and fix infrastructure issues to ensure system reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve infrastructure solutions.

• Possess strong expertise in AWS Cloud and AWS EC2.
• Have hands-on experience with Astra DB RavenDB Amazon DynamoDB MongoDB Redis and Couchbase.
• Experience in the Payer domain is a plus.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exhibit good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Show a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

The annual salary for this position is between $73,000 - $133,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
