Provides walk-in and phone customer service along with working in the warehouse at branch locations by performing the following duties:
  • Provide excellent customer service to Airgas customers by helping them with orders, selection of products and problem solving.
  • May require movement of cylinders as required by customer demands
  • Helping with stocking warehouse and transfer of merchandise from warehouse to showroom
  • Create and maintain documents regarding sales, quotes, or other information.
  • Enter sales data into a computer system and researches information for customers through use of the same.
  • Receive payments for merchandise or services sold and accounts for the same.
  • Obtain merchandise from the stockroom when merchandise is not on the floor.
  • Arrange stock on shelves or racks in the sales area and keeps merchandise in order.
  • Maintain current price documentation and product literature as it becomes available.
  • Assure stock inventories are kept at a level that facilitates sales objectives.
  • Receive, unpack, examine, and document incoming shipments.
  • Process and/or return damaged goods.
  • Pull orders for drivers to be delivered to customers.
  • Take care of price tags and bin locations.
  • Responsible for cycle counts.
  • Prepare and route merchandise for shipment.
  • Release daily invoices and completes all required hand written and computer generated documentation on a timely and accurate basis.
