Job Summary:

Join a dynamic research team at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Denver and gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge clinical research related to hip preservation and other orthopedic sub-specialties. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to work closely with Dr. James Genuario and a multidisciplinary team of physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals. The role focuses on supporting and coordinating clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and facilitating patient participation in innovative trials. Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Support senior research staff with new and ongoing research projects, contributing to various aspects of study execution.
- Assist with protocol development, including literature reviews and study design
- Maintain compliance with FDA regulations, IRB requirements, and institutional policies.
- Support clinical trials by managing timelines, tracking study progress, and assisting with regulatory submissions.
- Conduct chart reviews to extract relevant clinical data for retrospective research studies and confirm participant eligibility
- Perform data entry to ensure accurate and timely documentation of research findings.
- Ensure data quality control by verifying accuracy and completeness of collected data.
- Collect and analyze clinical research data to support study objectives and outcomes assessment.
- Maintain detailed research records to ensure protocol adherence and data integrity.
- Coordinate with sponsors, researchers, and clinical staff to facilitate study procedures and ensure smooth execution of research protocols
- Assist senior research members with the preparation of research project presentations for conferences and publications.
- Attend regular meetings with study investigators and provide progress reports on study status, challenges, and key milestones.

Qualifications:
|
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or health related field
- Clinical research or related experience
- Experience with electronic data capture systems (e.g. EMR or EHR and data management systems)
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge and understanding of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic human anatomy, physiology medical terminology
- Ability to interpret and master complex research protocol information

Anticipated Pay Range:
|
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $48,446 - $61,623 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
