Our Service Projects Technician installs and/or retrofits new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (duct
and equipment) in commercial and/or industrial settings, reads and interprets blueprints and specifications, and
adheres to all safety policies and procedures.

Essential Duties

    Installs and performs retrofits of HVAC systems with intermediate knowledge of piping and/or sheet metal
    tradecrafts.
  • Types of equipment worked on will include split systems, mini split systems, VRF multizone systems,
    RTUS, WSHP, self-contained systems, CRAC units, air cooled chillers, cooling towers, airside equipment,
    AHUs and exhaust fans of all types.
  • Proficiently operates hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring/testing equipment.
  • Completes quoted projects with high quality while maintaining profitability.
  • Develops long-term relationships with customers and explains work performed to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Performs sub-contractor management on quoted projects.
  • Participates in after-hours quoted projects (as needed) per customer requirements.
  • Safely operates motor vehicles and trailers as evidenced by past driving performance record. Meets
    requirements of fleet safety and driving policy and adheres to all company safety requirements.
  • Purchases parts, materials, and issues purchase order numbers to suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.
  • Able to work effectively with app based software


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-6 years of field experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • EPA Universal required
  • Solid foundation in HVAC systems
  • Comfortable working on split systems, package units, RTUs, Heat Pumps, Hydronic Systems, etc.
  • Basic Controls knowledge
  • Team oriented
  • OSHA 30
