Amplify is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Go-To-Market Strategy & Operations to help shape the K-12 Go-To-Market strategy for Amplify's expanding portfolio of products. The Senior Manager will report to the AVP, GTM Strategy & Operations and will work closely with leaders across Sales, Product Marketing, Corporate Strategy, and Product to ensure alignment and to highlight the interdependencies between teams, ensuring that each group has what it needs to bring informed, market-ready products to market.

This cross-functional leader will work with the AVP, GTM Strategy & Operations to align teams supporting product launches, ensuring that customer-facing teams are well-prepared. This role will help maintain Amplify's competitive edge as a leading publisher of high-quality instructional materials and K-12 products and services.

Essential Responsibilities:

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Support the development of a cohesive vision for how cross-functional teams need to plan for successful internal and external product launches for core, supplemental, and assessment products and services.

  • Support cross-product pricing and bundling research.

  • Craft a customer acquisition strategy in collaboration with Sales and Product Marketing leaders to secure lighthouse districts.

  • Support the planning and research for upcoming adoption needs in partnership with Product Marketing leaders, Sales leaders, and product leads.

  • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, and Sales leadership to develop product retirement plans.

  • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing and Sales leadership to develop a consistent cross-product GTM strategy to drive rollover buying.

Operations

  • Develop processes and structures that bring consistency and predictability to cross-product GTM planning.

  • Establish and communicate necessary requirements and milestones as a cross-product GTM roadmap for the successful launch of forthcoming core K-12 products, in partnership with Product Marketing and Training & Enablement teams.

  • Drive the development of GTM strategy iterations for state adoptions and new product editions.

  • Align and inform stakeholders through quarterly meetings (Launch and In-Market Reviews), providing a 360-degree view of opportunities, blockers, successes, lessons learned, and recommendations on future improvements.

  • Support the development of a cross-functional approach to gathering and analyzing competitive intelligence, and delivering impactful outputs.

  • Develop operational structures and support mechanisms to ensure the success of pilot programs for supplemental and assessment products (BOY, MOY, EOY assessments).

Problem Solving

  • Identify and resolve complex issues that could impede successful product launches by collaborating with product, sales, and other teams.

  • Lead and support cross-functional projects tied to both short-term and long-term strategic initiatives.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of internal systems and processes to ensure efficiencies and consistency in bringing new products and features to market.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, product marketing, and/or corporate strategy within educational publishing or ed-tech.

  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills with an ability to align diverse teams with a shared vision.

  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams to achieve tangible results.

  • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to also dive into tactical details.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex challenges.

  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience launching products, go-to-market strategies and product positioning.

  • Experience with large-scale, state-level curriculum adoptions.

  • Data analysis experience.

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
